What are the direct raw materials for producing disposable eco-friendly paper tableware?
Paper that has undergone coating treatment is called "coated paper".
What is the printing sequence for disposable eco-friendly paper tableware?
Some processes involve printing before the paper is coated (inner-layer printing), while others apply printing after coating (surface printing).
In general, printing after lamination is more common, as the PE film has a smooth surface that produces better printing results.
How many core steps are in the forming process of disposable eco-friendly paper tableware?
The production of disposable eco-friendly paper tableware involves four steps: feeding, heating, stamping, and trimming.
Feeding
The printed composite paper roll is fed into the compression molding machine. The machine first cuts the roll into rectangular sheets of a specific size.
Heating
The sheets are transported to a heating station for preheating, which slightly softens the PE coating to improve plasticity and make forming easier.
Stamping
The preheated sheets are fed into a mold shaped for the intended tableware (e.g., cup or bowl). The mold has an upper mold (punch) and a lower mold (die). Under high pressure, the upper mold presses down on the sheet, forcing it into the lower mold for instant forming.
Trimming
During stamping, the sharp edges of the mold cut off excess material. These scraps are collected and recycled into pulp for reuse.
